Install KahawaTrace on your phone or computer

KahawaTrace is an installable web app. Install it straight from your browser: it gets its own icon and window, opens full screen, and updates itself. No app store or large download is needed.

Install app

Android phones and tablets

  1. Open kahawatrace.co.ke/login in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install app (or the ⋮ menu, then Install app / Add to Home screen).
  3. Open KahawaTrace from your home screen like any other app.

Windows computers

  1. Open kahawatrace.co.ke/login in Microsoft Edge or Chrome.
  2. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (or Menu → Apps → Install KahawaTrace).
  3. KahawaTrace appears in the Start menu and can be pinned to the taskbar.

Mac and Chromebook

  1. In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar.
  2. On a Mac with Safari 17 or later: File → Add to Dock.
  3. Launch it from the Dock, Launchpad or the Chromebook shelf.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open kahawatrace.co.ke/login in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add. KahawaTrace opens full screen from your home screen.

Good to know

  • The installed app is the same KahawaTrace you use in the browser, with the same sign-in, data and permissions.
  • An internet connection is needed to save farmers and plots. GPS mapping uses your device’s location, so allow location access when asked.
  • To remove it, uninstall it like any other app (Android, Windows, Mac) or press and hold the icon (iPhone).
